In 2008 William travelled to the United States to complete a Farriers diploma and he continues to farrier hundreds of horses annually. William is dedicated to mentoring new farriers in correct techniques and tools.

He is also an accredited time event judge with the APRA and loves Rodeo and Campdraft.

William is quite the fun character, a well known
face around Mount Isa. His commitment to both
his work and his family is admirable, working long
hours yet finding time to support his childrens
interests in rodeo and campdrafting competitions.
